We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe that the Bible is trustworthy and true and that it is for every generation and civilization. (2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Corinthians 2:13, Romans 15:4)
We believe that God exists eternally in three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—and that these three are one God. We believe that God sent Christ into the world for the salvation of sinful man. (Matthew 28:18-19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 John 4:14, Revelation 1:4–6)
We believe that Jesus Christ was fully God and fully man in the flesh, that He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life. We believe that He died to pay the penalty for the sins of all humanity and that he was raised from death into life in bodily form on the third day. (Luke 1:30-35, John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Acts 2:22-24)
We believe that the Holy Spirit is fully God. The Holy Spirit convicts humanity of sin, regenerates, indwells, baptizes and seals all believers at the moment of their salvation. (John 14:16-17, Ephesians 2:22, Titus 3:5-7)
We believe that every person is created in the image of God yet has been separated from God through sin. We believe that the consequence of sin is death and that people are incapable of earning forgiveness for salvation through efforts of their own. (Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23)
We believe that no one can enter heaven apart from forgiveness of sins through belief in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that man is reconciled to God by grace through faith and that true believers in Jesus are forever kept secure by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. (John 14:6, Romans 5:8, Ephesians 1:7, Titus 3:5-7)
We believe that The Church is the collective body of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ is Lord and Head of the church and the Holy Spirit is its life and power. (Romans 12:5, 1 Corinthians 12:27, Ephesians 1:22-23)
We believe that after salvation a person’s primary purpose should be to share the Gospel of Christ with others. (Matthew 28:19)
We believe that marriage has been instituted and ordained by God, and that marriage is defined as the exclusive covenantal union of one man and one woman in which such union is a lifetime commitment.
We believe that legitimate sexual relations are to be exercised only within marriage as ordained by God. Hence, sexual activities outside of marriage, including adultery, premarital sex, homosexuality, pedophilia, transgender behavior, and pornography are inconsistent with the teachings of the Bible and the church.
We believe that the roles of husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, and children are clearly stated in the Scriptures, including the principles of discipline, instruction, and correction.
We believe that love and respect are due, and to be offered, to all people, as we’re all created in the image of God. However, when the Scriptures speak against other belief systems and behaviors, we must be true to the Scriptures.
